Leah was born in VA, and grew up in PA and NC. She met her husband Jonathan during her sophomore year of Bible college. They studied music theory together until God changed his direction and he said “yes” to the call to pastor. They married in 2005 and moved to Canada, where they have served in full time ministry for the last 10 years. Jonathan has served as youth/music pastor, interim pastor, assistant pastor, and senior pastor in two churches in the Maritime provinces. Becky Daye fell in love with Jesus as a little girl growing up in Pennsylvania, but it was on the other side of the world where she discovered her greatest passion in life – to serve God and point others to Him. She met her husband during her sophomore year in Bible college where he was studying to be a youth pastor. After 10 years in youth ministry, God began to lead the Dayes in a different direction. Today, Becky loves serving by her husband’s side as he lives out his passion for preaching and teaching the Word of God in a Senior Pastor role. A pastor’s daughter who never expected to be a pastor’s wife, Becky is daily aware of God’s perfect plan as she mothers four pastors’kids. She loves to connect with others on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/DayeByDaye) and through her blog (http://www.dayebydaye.com). Becky is the administrator of Heart-to-Heart groups #1 and #3.

Although she was not raised in a Christian home, Amy was taken to church by her Great uncle and Aunt. It was there she heard the gospel and fell in love with the stories of Jesus. At 7 years of age, Amy asked Jesus into her heart and life. Through the years, no matter where they moved, God provided someone who always came by and asked if Amy and her brothers would like to go to church. When Amy was 13 years old, she was terrified one day when she had a sudden headache that felt like her brain was being crushed. Amy had an AVM that had ruptured in her brain. She was given less than a fifty percent chance at survival.  If she did survive, the doctors only gave her a one percent of ever being able to walk, talk, or see normally. Not only did Amy survive the needed brain surgery but amazed the doctors by not having any lasting damage from the AVM rupturing or the surgery. They said she was a walking miracle! It when she was 16 and helping in Awana’s that she was sent on an errand in another part of the church building. As she was walking she was brought to a stop as she realized that she had been saved twice. Once from spiritual death and once from physical death or physical disability. It was at that moment she rededicated her life to God, promising to always live for Him and help others to know the gift that He had given her. Amy is married to a Pastor in Wyoming where she daily keeps that promise by supporting her husband in the ministry, teaching a weekly kids club, and loving and teaching the ladies God has put in their ministry. Amy loves being a pastor’s wife and even though sometimes her house is messy, there are days when she does not see her husband much, or her mascara is running from the tears the ministry brings, she still counts herself blessed that God allows her to serve and share the gospel in this way!  Amy  is the administrator of Heart-to-Heart group #2.

Lisa was born in Winston-Salem, NC while her dad was in Bible college.  She grew up in Roanoke, VA as a PK.  She met her husband John in college (she was his boss in the campus store).  They were married in 1995 and after John graduated from college, they moved to PA for John to attend seminary.  It was here that God began to peel away years of wrong thought and action.  From intense work and class schedules to infertility and everything in between, God completely reshaped their hearts.  In 2001, after years of struggle, God allowed them to adopt a beautiful baby girl.  In 2002, they moved to MD to pastor a hurting church.  As a seminary professor would later tell them, they received 10 years of experience in just 2 short years.  During this time, God blessed them with the adoption of a baby boy.  Since 2006, John & Lisa have lived in PA as John leads Calvary Baptist Church as the Senior Pastor.  John & Lisa desire is to grow in their relationship with God in order that they might grow in their relationships with each other. It is their ultimate goal to be what God wants them to be on the inside so they can do what God wants them to do on the outside. They both have experience in helping both people and churches that are hurting. Their burden is to be used by God to help those with wounded hearts experience the forgiveness and freedom that is offered through the Lord Jesus Christ. Lisa is the administrator of Heart-to-Heart group #4.

IMG_4955Beth grew up as the oldest in a large ministry family and as a child lived for a few years in Central America. It was while living in Central America that she came to know Christ as her personal Savior during a preaching service in the small church her family was helping to start. She met her husband, Ken, while attending Bible college to get her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Ed. He pastored in a small chapel while attending college and seminary. Beth helped in the chapel ministry on the weekends with a children’s ministry. It was during that time that they discovered that they served better together than single. Beth and Ken have been married for 40 years. They’ve served in two churches: one a rural church in Nebraska and one in a large city in Missouri. They have 7 children, two sons-in-law, and 8 grands. She loves art and music. When she has time, she loves anything creative including sewing, embroidering, stamping,  and scrap booking.  She and Ken have written a book about their experience after he was the sole survivor of a plane crash. It is an unforgettable story of how God used  tragedy to help them embrace His purpose for their life. Beth is the administrator of Heart-to-Heart groups #7 and #9.
