Join a Heart-to-Heart Group

The Heart-to-Heart groups are small, private online groups where pastors’ wives can connect and find hope through prayer support and mutual encouragement with each other. This is a safe place to share your ministry struggles and blessings. We don’t try to “fix” each other. Rather, we provide listening hearts and a sounding board for each other, pray regularly for each other, and share ministry ideas in an atmosphere of grace. We seek to point each other to our only hope- CHRIST. If you’re a pastor’s wife who is looking for a ray of hope, Heart-to-Heart is for you. Join several hundred others who are finding community in the already existing 9 groups!

Please note: This blog and all Heart-to-Heart groups maintain a complementarian belief that only men are called to be pastors. 1 Timothy 2:11-12 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”If you share this belief with us, then you are welcome to join a Heart-to-Heart group!

Please fill out the following form and I will respond to you as soon as I am able. The information I ask from you is for the purpose of keeping our groups secure and available to pastors’ wives only.

  1. Hi,

I am not too good with technology, but when I saw “by chance” (tongue in cheek) your blog on a random facebook post, I felt a glimmer of hope that yur heart to heart group might just be an answer to this pastors wifes prayer. You see I have lost hope in my life. That is a horrible thing for any christian to say. In my head, I know many scriptures tell me, dont lose heart, we are overcomers, He is with us, His Grace is sufficiant, etc. But right now reality is I am defeated. In many things, my marriage, my children, my health…I could go on, but I pray you get the picture and understand somehow where I am coming from.

I tried signing up for a group but not sure if I really did it right. I would like to be in a group…perhaps as a silent observer at first. I am older..(60) and I would like to hear from a person who could relate to an old timer also and the special struggles we may have. Perhaps I will be assigned in the futre, but as I fail with electronics I just wanted to verify my request was recieved.. Perhaps one day, I will feel comfortable being an encourager to the young, I have been there! But right now, I feel I have failed in so many ways, that I have very little to offer. On the other hand, I dont want to be discouraging to another. Is there a place for me in one of your groups? If there is not, I totally understand. I see from reading your blogs there are many of us, of all ages who are struggling in different ways.

No matter what, I thank you for being a voice in the wilderness as it is, for those of us with ministering husbands.

    Have a good day.

    1. Hi Debbie, my prayer for is that you will open up and share those struggles
because I’ve learned that every one of my struggles weren’t just for me!! Its sounds like you are just the person to minister to those of us who just THINK we are
“going through”! Failure ultimately produces the right to testify to what GOD has brought you through preparing you for the next triumph! So you see, that which you say you failed at, did you really fail or were you being prepared for something greater?
